Quick Pic

Remember the community service day I mentioned? I was picking up trash with these ladies and we decided to take a picture together. At the last second, the girl next to me put her filthy, germy trash picking up latex glove on my face. Good times in Kenya! Oh, and they're eating sugarcane with the dirty gloves as well. I need to school them on some public health!

Had a long day in the field today, visited 7 homes to do questionnaires and walked around in the heat for what seemed like forever. It's been really interesting to see how people live, the differences are amazing. We went from sitting on couches in homes made of wood with iron sheet roofs, to sitting on the floor in homes mad of cow dung. That's right, COW DUNG.

I've been trying to post more pics but this bobo internet won't let me. I've had lots of requests to see the luxurious Kilimanjaro Base Camp where I've been living so I'll try to get pics up soon. I have a day off from the field tomorrow so I can help with some data entry and get a little free time. I have some exciting plans such as reading more of What is the What (thanks, Mister) and cleaning my dirty toenails. Too much information?

Kwaheri!
