Our flight back to Manila last night was delayed 6 hours, so we arrived at 4am and then got to school by 8am for our four hour class. Still feeling a bit drowsy from the day so I'll post a full recap of Borneo adventures later. For now, here are some links for you to enjoy...
I love maps and flags and things, throw in food and it's just amazing. Anyone wanna go to Australia next month for Sydney's International Food Festival?
I read somewhere that the next world war will be fought over access to water. The drought in Kenya is real and frightening.
I like to keep up with the haps in dear Richmond, but I'm a little behind on my usual RVA sites. Thanks to Tobacco Avenue, here is all you need to know about bar crawling on Robinson Street. Who HASN'T encountered the creepy old white dude who is always dressed to impress? But I will say, I like Racine.
Two weekends ago we took a day trip to Tagaytay, to escape Manila for a cooler climate and do a little volcano viewing (photo above). The day was a bit short of an epic fail, save our dinner at Sonya's Garden and our $3 pedicures at their spa.
That's all for now because it's time to get LOST! Julie and Nora just started watching season 1 and I've been sucked in all over again. Remember Boone?! Good thing he was pretty because the boy can't act.
Virtual trip to Malaysia coming soon. xoxo
