I'm leaving for Kenya today! I can't believe it. I'm going with school to work on a sanitation project for the Masai tribe so it's finally time to put some public health skillz to work. It's been a whirlwind getting ready for the trip since I also moved out of my apartment (good riddance, Stompers!) and had a few things to do in preparation for the Philippines in the fall. I have probably forgotten something important during these hectic 2 weeks but oh well, I did my best. I am so excited about my first African adventure and can't wait to immerse myself in the culture. I need to learn some Swahili because all I know right now is Hakuna Matata. That should be enough, right? My internet access will be limited but I'll try to update this regularly to keep you posted on any bouts of malaria or wild animal attacks on our bush camp. Take care, friends!
Tutaonana baadaye! (See you later!)
